About The Sand Dunes Suites
Set against wide-open skies with uninterrupted views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this thoughtfully designed modern cabin is your perfect basecamp for exploring the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. Minimalist, warm, and intentionally crafted, the space blends natural materials with clean lines to create a calm retreat after days spent adventuring in southern Colorado.
The exterior welcomes you with weathered wood siding, stone accents, and a metal roof that complements the rugged landscape. Step outside to a gravel patio outfitted with Adirondack chairs—an ideal spot for morning coffee as the sun rises over the dunes or for stargazing beneath some of Colorado’s darkest skies.
Inside, the open-concept layout feels both spacious and cozy. Polished concrete floors, a wood-plank ceiling, and custom wood cabinetry set a modern rustic tone throughout.

The kitchenette is well-equipped for simple meals, featuring a cooktop, mini fridge, sink, and thoughtfully chosen essentials. A handcrafted concrete island with bar seating anchors the space and doubles as a gathering place for meals, planning the day, or unwinding with a glass of wine.
The sleeping area is seamlessly integrated into the open layout, with a comfortable bed dressed in soft, neutral linens and layered textures that invite rest.
